hey everyone! i have a short(ish) update for you guys, on delirium!

development has been going great, i'm having a good time composing the soundtrack, doing the art, and coding, but there's one aspect that i do need some help on- and that's voice acting. i have some of it covered by myself, but there are certain voices i just cannot do. but here's the thing- whether this is a paid gig or not is really dependent on whether i receive donations or not, as this is a nonprofit game (a tribute to the silent hill series...) and all of our profits for this game would be purely donation-based. if, we do make any sort of profit, 90% would be going to the people who are helping me make this game!

now, as for the gigs, i need a:

(main protagonist: ember kanade) an asian woman (of course the actor does not need to have this ethnic background, but she should have some sort of an accent. but i'm open to what you want to do for her!), early 20s.. she will have a certain tone that i won't be revealing here, but if you make the role, i will tell you! i just don't wanna spoil anything.. this story is pretty big.

(side character, will not disclose the name here.) a middle aged male, troubled sounding. southern-american background (faint, but still prominent. as stated for ember, i am still open to your ideas for his voice, as well! i'll give more info when in contact)

(monster voices) this one is pretty self-explanatory. tunnel throat, vocal fry, doesn't matter! more info, of course, when in contact.

Frogstation Goes To Prison (Early Access) Update 0.2.1!!

yo!! we've been hard at work on the game, and we've put together a update for y'all. no new rooms just yet, but a lot of polishing, so far.

so, here's a list of all of the changes:

• Controller Support

we've added COMPLETE controller support to the game, for you gamepad enjoyers. thank @ezekieltem on newgrounds, as he assisted on the code for it!

• Ammo System

completely new ammo system, now your shots are limited. the maximum amount of ammo you can hold is 100, and every shot takes away 1 bullet. be careful not to run out of ammo, though, once it's out, you can't get it back... unless there's an ammo pickup, dropped by robots when you kill them. each ammo pickup is worth 10 bullets, but be sure to pick it up in time. you get 30 seconds before it explodes.

• Inhumane Safety Measures Actually Present

the inhumane safety measures in that long hallway are actually present now, which is, uh, nice. anyway, that room is still the end of the demo, so far, so when you pass it, it kills you. there are still some updates to be made to this room, but we're prioritizing bringing more rooms to the game.

• Various graphical changes

we updated some of the lighting in the prison, to look a little nicer than before. there are also new visual effects too! when you're close to death, it really shows that's you're FUCKED by zooming into you, and having a slight chromatic aberration effect. the game over screen has some new camera movement, too, so that's nice. oh, and there's a new death animation. cool, huh?

all in all, there's quite a bit changed here in this update, along with QoL changes. so, please, check it out!

the medals work now. and you can log into newgrounds, so yeah. woohoo!!
